Sunday School Virtual Food Drive Is a Success!

Sunday School Virtual Food Drive Is a Success!

It is with great pleasure that we share with you the wonderful works of our Sunday School students. During the month of November, our Sunday School, grades Preschool-12th, participated in a virtual food drive for the Alameda County Food Bank. We are pleased to report that our students collectively raised $1122.66! Since the Food Bank purchases in bulk, every $1 that is donated helps provide $7 worth of food. This means that our Sunday School actually raised $7,858.62, providing 2534 meals to those in need. Simply outstanding!

We want to also give a special thank you and congratulations to the Preschool class. Their class raised the most donations and received this year’s Food Drive trophy. Goes to show that you are never too young to be charitable. Congratulations again!

We are so proud of all our students and families. Your kindness and generosity truly shows what it is to be a Christian. May we all continue your example.

With Gratitude and Blessings,
The Sunday School Staff
